Dr. Rick A. Munaretto

Dr. Rick received his Bachelor of Science degree from Benedictine University in 1997. He then entered the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Dentistry where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree and was valedictorian of his class. During his doctoral studies, Dr. Rick received a second Bachelor’s Degree in Dentistry from UIC, and received numerous awards, including the Luz Bondoc Scholarship for the highest Part I & II National Board Examination scores. He was also inducted into the OKU National Dental Honors Society. Dr. Rick went on to complete a two-year residency in Endodontics at UIC where he earned his specialty certificate in Endodontics in 2003.

Dr. Rick is a member and past representative of many dental societies including the Chicago Dental Society, Illinois State Dental Society and the American Dental Association. He is involved in the Edgar D. Coolidge Endodontic Study club, and a member of the American Association of Endodontists. Dr. Rick currently lectures at UIC College of Dentistry on the topic of dental trauma, and he was invited to speak at the Westside Chicago Dental Society meeting in March of 2006. Dr. Rick is board-eligible for the American Board of Endodontics and plans to achieve diplomate status by 2009. 

Dr. Rick resides in Lombard with his wife Gretchen,daughter Francesca, and son Dominic.
